Or, you can choose to record a new voice book. Note: You will need an internet connection
for transcription to work, as it makes use of our cloud technologies
After clicking the record button, you're taking to the transcriber view
Here, you can record what ever you want and have your speed automatically transcribed.
Your mileage may vary, based on your pronunciation
Voice Books can recognise many many languages, and uses your device language as a hint for transcription
The first block of words you say are used as the title for the book
You can pause transcription by pressing the pause button in the transcriber view
You can easily resume transcription using the record button, again
On this page you can edit the play back speed at which voice books run
You can also re-open this user guide by clicking the button at the bottom
Books are automatically saved by pressing the stop button or the back button on your phone
Once a book has been recorded and saved, it can be opened from the main home page
On this screen, you start the playback of the Voice Book. This plays the original Voice Book audio, synchronised
along
with the highlighted words in the book's transcript
You can also pause / stop the playback at any point using the pause / stop buttons.
The books speed is decided by the playback speed setting from the settings menu
By pressing the options button in the top right, you can open up a context menu
In this menu you can share this book (as text)
You can also listen to the original voice book audio using a player of your choice
